It Came in a Ball of Fire
And left in a puff of ash
This is a Drabble — a story of exactly 100 words. This Drabble was inspired by our camping club’s Friday night campfire during our stay at Bear Creek in July 2024.
The prompt word for today, Saturday, July 13, from Grim Flandango is BALL.

I turned to Chester to ask if he heard it, too, and he was gone.
