Idea 1

Warm up: let’s start with a drabble that features an island in any way at all. Holiday? Departure? Homecoming? (You can find a couple of my own examples here and here).

Idea 2

Now, what could be more fun than a pirate-inhabited Treasure Island? Share a story about visiting/being shipwrecked on such a place. It could be a journal, narrative, or epistolary novel!

Idea 3

A slightly different take on the above – share a series of drabbles or a short story about a legendary island that you or someone else is seeking. It could be a place cloaked in mystery — perhaps most wise…
