Most People Lost Hope at an Early Age After COVID — Here’s How Some Kept Going
They lost their spark, but a handful found a way to keep moving. The secret? It’s not what you think.
I’ve encountered numerous individuals, both professionally and personally, who became tired of life at a young age. Several were my childhood friends. Several were colleagues I worked with. Others were clients of my brother, who is a CA. Some of these people had considerable wealth. Others could barely pay their bills.
Most of them had great enthusiasm until the world realized that COVID existed. I even got to know a few Americans from my time in my Master’s program in the USA. For many of them, the tiredness happened before life really started. When heaviest expectations were placed on them. When life didn’t turn out the way they saw it ending up. When their life was stalled by one circumstance after another.
I watched them progressively going from vibrant, hopeful, and ambitious individual to an almost lifeless human just existing. Once bright dreams became dim recollections fully covered and wrapped in a heavy blanket of futility. Every morning they awakened in the idea of wondering why it was necessary at all. The colors around them faded, and even their favorite things lost their joy.
