At Preply, we’re building digital products that are shaping the future of effective learning. To make sure people can use our products to reach their goals, we regularly test our copy and designs with customers.

Users are the most important part of a successful usability test! After we’ve identified a relevant audience, representative of the people who will get value from the product, we send a friendly recruitment message by email.

We respect recipients’ time with concise text, set clear expectations for the user test and offer an incentive from our product for participation. Here’s an example of our recruitment template:
