An Unexpected Thief

A roll of toilet paper was stolen from a local grocery store in Toronto last night. Aaron Presley, a 43-year-old simpleminded employee, claimed that a dark shadow was seen suddenly rushing out when he opened the roll-up door. He promptly called the police when he discovered that a pile of toilet paper had vanished. After the police arrived, they investigated the store and tried to figure out who the pilferer is. Five minutes later, they found some dirty, indistinct footprints on the floor, and followed it. To their surprise, they found nothing but a fluffy, adorable tabby playing with the toilet paper. In the end, Aaron decided to take the kitty home and christened it “Paper”.
