Taiwan or Thailand?

Many people confuse Taiwan with Thailand. However, there are many differences between the two. To start with, they are situated differently. Taiwan is an island located in East Asia and lies to the East of China and in the West Pacific. Thailand, however, is located in South-east Asia. It is to the south of China and next to Vietnam. Second, Taiwan experiences a subtropical climate, while Thailand has a tropical, monsoon climate. Finally, there are fewer people in Taiwan than in Thailand. Taiwan has a population of 23 million, whereas Thailand has more than 68 million. To sum up, Taiwan and Thailand vary in location, climate, and population.
