Earlier this week in order to gain superiority, local miller Jacob Thompson claimed to the king that his daughter, Catherine could spin straw into gold.

It was then the young girl was taken to the royal palace and commanded to do so in a tower, by the use of a spinning wheel. Sources say that if she didn’t comply she would have been punished by death.

Witnesses that work within the palace have heard whispers that a “small man managed to get into the tower and has been spinning the straw into gold for the girl, in return for payment of jewelry Catherine had”. Tricked into thinking that Catherine was the one that spun the straw, the king proceeded to take her into an even bigger room and again the same thing occurred.

When this continued to happen, the king offered his hand in marriage- believing that Catherine was worth far more than any other maiden in the land. The mischievous man who kept assisting Catherine asked for her first-born child when she became queen, when he realized she had nothing else to offer him.

The kingdom has a deep fear for the man’s return, it has been announced to be later this year, with many preparations underway that extra security has been ordered to protect the royal family. It is said that if the queen can find out what the man is called within three days he will let her keep the child.

Updates to follow as we continue to follow the action.
