Three London children are still missing after being abducted by a ‘gang of youths’ who lured them away from their family home whilst parents slept.

Police warn families to ensure that their children are sleeping in safe and secure rooms following the disappearance of the three Darling children.

One week has passed since Wendy Darling, aged 13, John Darling, aged 11 and Michael Darling, aged 8, were taken from their bedroom by a so-called ‘gang of youths’, but doubts have been raised over the children's willingness to leave their home.

Various new witnesses have come forward, claiming to have spotted the three Darling children committing petty crime in various locations across the city. One witness, landlord of the Second Star Pub in Whitechapel, described the Darling children’s companions: “They were [all] around the same age. There was a boy who looked like the leader. He had a green hoodie and a skateboard. There was a girl dressed in a tutu and fairy wings too. The scoundrels seemed to be raiding the till of the fish and chip shop across the street with the help of the missing kids.”

Our sources tell us that the shop in question, Hooks, did indeed report a robbery to the police at the weekend, suggesting that the claim is valid. Another Whitechapel business, vintage clothing shop The Ticking Crocodile, may also have been targeted.

Investigations continue into identifying and locating the ‘gang of youths’, with the Darling children’s parents issuing a statement dismissing claims that their children are committing these crimes.

“It can’t be them,” sobbed Mrs. Darling on live television last night. “My children are angels. They wouldn’t do this, they wouldn’t know how.”

Police said that they are putting all of their efforts into bringing the Darling children home and will deal with the associated crimes consequently.
