Hello again! It’s been a while.

Just going to give a short update of what I’ve been listening to lately.

1) The Yellowcard Ocean Avenue acoustic album — in lieu of celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the band’s most successful album Ocean Avenue, they decided to release an album featuring all acoustic versions of the songs on the original. Being a huge Yellowcard fan back in the day, this album was just what I needed for the summer — ahhh the nostalgia, brings back so many memories.

2) K. Michelle Rebellious Soul — a really decent R&B/Soul album, pure R&B, I find myself listening to a few songs on repeat: “V.S.O.P”, “Damn”, and “When I Get A Man”

3) To be completely honest, I was fairly disappointed with Robin Thicke’s album, a lot of dubstep, eurostep, synthy stuff happening, nothing really like the feel Blurred Lines had (lyrics aside). The only song I really liked on the album was “Get In My Way” — a feel good tune, that has that kind of throwback touch to it. “Give it 2 U” is alright too, it’s kinda catchy.

4) John Mayer’s Paradise Valley — I gave this album a listen on Spotify, and I really enjoyed it. It’s easy listening to me, something I can listen to while doing homework or reading.

5) Ryan Mitchell GreyCanyon EP, always love supporting a Youtube artist, big fan of Ryan and his band.

Singles:
Roar — Katy Perry
Almost is Never Enough — Ariana Grande feat. Nathan Sykes
Clouds — Travis Garland

Things I’m excited for (might do an album review once it’s out):
Ariana Grande’s debut album Yours Truly
John Legend’s upcoming album Love in the Future
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE’S 20/20 Experience PART 2
