This is a call to get the ball rolling in our publication.

Let’s all join in and get some stories going on in here!

Let’s start with first impressions.

Since this publication is about diversity and coming together, let’s submit stories that reflect how we identify ourselves.

You should submit a story that you feel represents you as a writer or a person. Introduce yourself to us.

Whether it’s:

  • A short fictional story
  • Thoughts on life, writing (or even this publication).
  • A piece you just love
  • Or just a few words to introduce yourself

Just give us something to get to know you.

Think of it like this:

We are all meeting up together in the “digital writing world.” What you choose to publish for this “challenge” represents who you are and how you add to our group. Of course, we can’t define our whole selves through just one piece. But give us a taste, so we can look forward to what’s in store.

And that’s it! There are not any restrictions, just the request that you submit a piece that gives us an idea of who you are.

The deadline is July 31. I’m giving you a head start.

Check out our Submission Guidelines here:

Then, when your story is finished, right before you publish, you can submit it to Writing Together. If you have any questions, send me an email.

Don’t forget to share your story after it’s published! Let’s get our publication seen and introduce ourselves to the rest of the digital world.

Don’t forget to follow Writing Together on Twitter and Facebook!
