If you were to collect the seconds lost during transit — when you are waiting, sleeping, or caught in the middle of a moment ending and another beginning — you’d have gathered an entirely separate life from the active one who now remains. Two opposing bodies: the you who does, and the you who will.
When you envision them, how old are they? And when they return the thought, how old are you?
