The Marriage Has Just Begun

A poem

The first dance at a wedding always seems
to be something out of a fairy tale,
as the crowd falls silent to gather
at the edge of the dance floor,
watching with warmth as the newlyweds
swirl around the space on a cloud of love,
as if they’re the only people in the room.
