Submission Guidelines Updated
Written Tales is Accepting Writers 1/10/2020
What We Look For
Written Tales welcomes submissions of short fiction, non-fiction, flash fiction, and poetry for digital and print features. We are open to almost any topic you can throw at us. If we feel a piece is not suitable for our publication, we will let you know. When submitting poetry, we enjoy all styles and forms. All we ask is you check your grammar before submission.
For flash fiction and non-fiction work, we prefer stories between fifty (50) to two thousand (2,000) words. Stories greater than two thousand words (2000) we accept on a story by story basis.
Our main goal with this publication is to give new writers and seasoned veterans a voice and platform for maximum exposure to increase their readership fan base.
We do not pay writers for submission at this time. But what you will receive is maximum exposure across multiple social media and traditional channels.
The Written Tales magazine is self-funded. Our goal is to one day pay all our writers for their submissions. Please keep checking back on our guidelines as we do update often. Thank you.
