Too Good To Be True

A familiar face

found in a crowd

once unknown

a year later

met and known

never knew

he’d then be

the one who shows

the universe and stars

when they give you darks

the one who tells

about flowers and gifts

when they give you coals

the one who hands

you colors and brushes

when they give you knives

-yet i still think he’s too good to be true
