The Beauty Of Completely Useless Information
Some of the greatest pleasures in life come from the discovery of something new. On a trip to a bird conservancy, I had the pleasure of learning about owls, hawks and falcons. The real highlight occurred during a lecture on medieval falconry. I had considered sneaking out of the auditorium. A few others had walked out already, and I didn’t want the speaker to feel slighted. So I stayed and I’m glad I did.
