This one’s called “Barbie Yemanja”
This is a series of art sculptures mixing teenage pop culture and shamanic religious figures. In the following example, the author is asked to imagine the embodiment of two figures in one:
- Yemanja, the mother goddess of oceans from the Yoruba religion
- Barbie, the teenage toy
One can also imagine shamanic Ken performing a cleansing or a grounding ritual:
