The LCB’s Cannabis Central Reporting System (CCRS) went live in Dec. 2021. CCRS is stable and functioning as designed.

The project has recently entered Phase 2. This phase is focused on addressing outstanding “fixes” and enhancing aspects of the system to make it more functional for integrators (businesses who report data on behalf of licensees) and licensees to use.

Phase 2 has a defined set of in-scope items to meet the goals below:

  • Ensure LCB internal users have data needed to examine, enforce the laws and regulations for the Cannabis industry.
  • Enhance the CCRS application to meet outstanding requirements and requests from the cannabis industry.

The CCRS team is currently focusing on:

  • Redesigning and implementing a Manifest solution to relieve some of the current process pain points for cannabis industry members.
  • Planning initial testing for the new Manifest process with a few industry partners.
  • Providing testing timelines with updated guides for further industry testing once initial testing is successful.

We will provide updates on additional fixes and improvements for CCRS in the near future. The Phase 2 efforts will be communicated directly to current CCRS system users and posted on the CCRS section of LCB’s website before any changes are implemented.
