Renewing your Liquor License in 2024

House Bill 1359 temporarily reduced liquor licensing fees by half for certain license types from April 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023. This temporary fee reduction has ended and licenses set to expire in January 2024 and after are subject to the full fee amount typically owed for the license.
A liquor license is renewed annually through the Washington State Department of Revenue (DOR) Business Licensing Service. You will receive a renewal notice via email from DOR approximately 45 days before your license expires. Please pay your annual license fee on or before your expiration date to avoid late renewal penalties.
