After months of outreach and a testing phase for system users, CCRS officially transitioned to several new data reporting resources.

On Jan. 9, 2023, the CCRS system deployed new tools for state-required reporting. The changes were in response to concerns and ideas raised following the Dec. 2021 launch of the CCRS. In the year since CCRS replaced the former LEAF traceability system, the LCB has been building solutions to improve system performance for internal and external CCRS users.

A new manifest.CSV improved efficiency for those (primarily third-party integrators) who input information on behalf of multiple licensees. Another new feature provides email notifications to users who successfully submit a manifest.csv to CCRS, and error messages when data is not accepted by the system.

The road forward

In the week following the deployments there was a mix of successful operations and a few issues identified for agency IT and project team action. The team appreciates the patience of system users as the agency continues to work towards solutions for speeding up and simplifying cannabis reporting.
