Breaking Down Abortion With Science — Murder Isn’t HealthCare

The comparison between the treatment of eagle eggs and unborn human life in modern society is deeply troubling. In the United States, it is illegal to harm or destroy the eggs of bald eagles, a national symbol of strength and freedom. The Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, passed in 1940, imposes severe penalties, including fines and imprisonment, for anyone who kills or disturbs an eagle’s eggs. This law reflects a societal consensus that these unhatched lives hold immense value, deserving of legal protection even before they emerge from their shells.
Equality for Life?
Yet, in the same society, the termination of a human fetus is widely regarded as a form of health care. Abortion, which ends the life of an unborn child, yes, a CHILD is often discussed in terms of reproductive rights and personal autonomy. The stark contradiction between the legal and moral protections afforded to eagle eggs and the lack of equivalent protections for unborn human beings makes me wonder why society has fallen so far from hope.
