We share a pretty serious amount of stuff with each other on a weekly basis. Stuff we like, stuff that inspires us, stuff that makes us laugh, stuff we wish we made, stuff we should read, stuff we should listen to, stuff we should watch…STUFF.

This weekly post rounds up all the stuff we’ve shared with each other over the last seven days and gives it to you because, well, it’s always nice to spread the wealth. WTVS it is.

New Logo and Identity for Robinhood by COLLINS

Why we shared it:

This rebrand of Robinhood by Collins is awesome. We love the illustrations and how they take us to a different, sci-fi/futuristic reality. In an era where a lot of tech companies look alike, this style is a clear differentiator. Not only do they translate wonderfully into content images but they also look great in their app.

Industry Report: The Embrace of Immersive Content

Why we shared it:

We’re pretty much always jealous of the work Ceros puts together but this report takes it to another level. Not only is it designed brilliantly, the content inside the report really speaks to us. We dream about creating interactive content like this but totally identify with the results of the report, which says that although a majority of marketers want to be creating interactive content, we’re not doing it due to lack of budget and skills.

New ads for Setapp point out the unexpected perils of getting distracted

Why we shared it:

This new series of short ads for Setapp are great because they explain exactly what the app does in a witty way. They keep our attention and are shot beautifully.

You Can’t Stop Us | Nike

Why we shared it:

This video by Nike is awesome. Directly by Oscar Hudson, it makes us ~ feel things ~. On top of that, the way that this was shot is crazy impressive — combining 72 clips with new footage made to match the pre-existing footage and therefore largely achieved in-camera. DAMN!

We may be more productive, but remote work is still missing this

Why we shared it:

We’ve been working from home for almost half a year now (god, how time flies!) and although at times we feel more productive, we do agree with the findings of this Dropbox report. They ran a survey which uncovered that distributed teams are less able to form deep relationships with the people they work with. We feel that. The post goes on to talk about how right now tech solutions for WFH focus on productivity and dissects if tech will be able to take on the human connection problem.

The Dogdrop’s Packaging

Why we shared it:

This packaging for dog poop bags is just very, very cute.

Adobe MAX — The Creativity Conference, October 20–22

Why we shared it:

Adobe is going online with their conference this year and the line up looks amazing. From Annie Leibovitz and Tyler, the Creator to Keanu Reeves and Ava DuVernay — there’s bound to be some awesome sessions to get the wheels turning. We both signed up!

Elizabeth Gilbert — Your elusive creative genius

Why we shared it:

This isn’t really marketing-related but we both really identified with this TED talk by Elizabeth Gilbert. She talks through the idea of creativity and that, instead of the rare person “being” a genius, all of us “have” a genius. Worth a listen!

See ya next time!
