Wolf & Wilhelmine announces more new hires

The summer of 2017 was a big one at W&W. You know that feeling of excitement and nervousness on your first day back at school? New classroom, new teacher and some new classmates too. It’s a bit like that around the W&W halls this fall. We’ve added new hires to the Pack and new partners are helping to steer the ship. We’ve got new offices to settle into and new clients to work with. Our best-in-class talent pool has grown in the last few months and we’re excited to officially announce their arrival.

Meet Monica Koh, Megan Koval, Jennifer Ekeleme, Chad Young and Camila Caldas, the additions to our stacked Strategy dream team, and powerhouse project management duo, Robin Erler and Monique Reno-Gaffey.

Strategist Monica Koh, is a self-proclaimed pun-master who uses a combination of humor and intellect to find the humanity in every project she takes on. Her digital strategy experience lends to her ability to translate the high-minded world of strategy into useful tools, constantly pushing her to think about how brands can be positive catalysts in the world.

Megan Koval is a strategist with the keen ability to mix her passion for arts and culture to offer unique insight to every brand project. Her experience with NBCUniversal, NET-A-PORTER.com, Guess, NBTY and more have given her well-rounded experience that she uses to push brand thinking into the realm of activation. Megan is a bonafide harpist, painter and scuba-diver who feels most inspired under the water.

Jennifer Ekeleme, a free-range turned full-time Wolf, impressed when teaming up with the pack over the summer. Beyond her love of new spaces and places, she’s previously used her brand savvy working with partners such as Hennessy, Sephora, Havaianas and more. Her superpower lies in her empathetic, coaching-based approach to helping brands find their “why” and understanding how they need to live and connect with the world around them.

Strategist Chad Young fuses his passion for cultural movements with an expertise in on-the-ground ethnography. With a critical eye towards both macro-shifts and micro-spaces, he has unlocked consumer perspectives and social connections to explore life’s big questions for brands like Estée Lauder, Tory Burch, YouTube, Diageo and Viacom. Outside of the office, you can find Chad re-learning Mandarin, on his bike or plotting his escape to Mexico City.

Wolf & Wilhelmine’s 2016 strategy intern Camila Caldas returns to The Den after finishing her degree at Duke in Art History, Animation and Design Thinking a hunger to hit the ground running at the brand shop which taught her a love for brand strategy. Camila is a strategist who thrives on the thrills of research. At the heart of her curiosity and search for meaning is a passion for storytelling that keeps her constantly questioning.

Our Humanitarian Wolf, Robin Erler played a special role in 2017 as a free-range PM turned full-timer. Her zen-like project management style offers the pack a fierce calmness like no one else. She’s held down the fort for clients like General Electric, McKinsey, Nike, P&G and more. While PM’ing several projects, she still finds the time to organize fundraisers for organizations like All Hands Volunteers. Her efforts raised over 10K in a week to support Hurricane Harvey relief funds.

A native New Yorker, Monique Reno-Gaffey hails from the contemporary art world and is a classically-trained fine artist turned brand-lover and project manager. Monique views Project management as a holistic journey of maintaining relationships between her team and client and has used this philosophy across brands like GE, Coca-Cola, Mars Petcare, Blackstone, IHG Hotel Group and more. Beyond W&W’s walls, Monique can be found singing power ballads at karaoke and reminiscing about living abroad in Florence, London and Istanbul.
