Normally, we slide up in your inbox three nights a week. But this is a special request, so we thought it warranted a special email:

We need you to help us make it clap on Monday.

You know there’s an election coming up, right? We’re not out here for a particular candidate and, just like you, this election has us as sick and tired of being sick and tired as Fannie Lou Hamer on her worst day. But with Election Day looming, we’re thinking hard about how we can be most helpful to our folks.

Which is why we’re organizing a Thunderclap for Monday, the day before the election. A Thunderclap is a social media tool that blasts a wave of posts on Twitter, Facebook, and/or Tumblr from supporters at a particular time — if enough people sign up.

Think of it as an epic social media clapback.

The best part? Your message will help your friends and family find their polling place and encourage them to actually bring dem receipts on Election Day.
