Greetings, young Mercenary Lord!

And welcome to the wonderful world of WyndBlast, a game where you can collect dragons known as Wynds, recruit Mercenaries to train as Riders, and craft powerful weaponry to gain the upper hand in battle.

We thank you for trying out WyndBlast. If this is your first time playing the game, this article will get you familiarized with the UI and show you the ropes on how to strategize in the early stages of the game.

Let’s get started:

On the front page, connect your Metamask wallet by clicking on Sign-in with Wallet.

A notification will pop up once your wallet has been successfully linked.

Once the game has been loaded, you will be taken to the Main Map and the Main Menu. On the top left corner, you will see your Account Profile which displays your Profile Picture, Name, Level, the amount of Experience you have, and your Wallet address. On the top right corner, the golden cog icon indicates the Settings button.

The row of icons at the bottom of the screen is your Main Menu where you can see your Quest List, Unit Presets, Team Presets, Clan, Messages, Friend List, Shop, Inventory, Guide, and Wallet.

Quest List

Here you’ll be able to see your current ongoing quests, as well as your completed quests. You can earn CHRO reward from completing Weekly Quests, a set of Daily Quests, Beginner Quests, and also Story Quests. Your account level can only be leveled up using EXP from quests, so don’t forget to come back here to claim your rewards once you’ve completed a quest!

Unit Preset

On this page, you’ll be able to see the list of Wynds and Riders that you own, and set up custom loadouts to quickly select and deploy Blast units during battle.

Team Preset

You will be able to make a preset of Blast units formation which you can use during battle as you adjust the best strategy against your enemy’s formation.

Clan (coming soon!)

Here you’ll be able to see any clans that you have joined. You will also be able to see your clan mates’ activities as well as their tiers.

Messages & Friend List (coming soon!)

Here you will be able to send and receive messages from your friends on WyndBlast.

On the Friend List, you will be able to send and receive friend requests from other WyndBlast players.

Shop (coming soon!)

The shop icon will take you to the WyndBlast shop where you can purchase various in-game items.

Inventory

On the inventory page, you’ll be able to see all of the items in your possession.

Guide

This page contains the glossary for the game terms and icons used in our game.

Wallet

On this page, you’ll be able to see your CHRO reward information.

Stages

On the Map, you’ll be able to see a path with Nodes indicating your stage progress on the main questline.

Clicking on the node will take you to a pop screen and prompt you to choose a difficulty for a stage. Initially, only the Easy difficulty will be available, but the higher difficulties will be available once you complete the stage. Completing stages on higher difficulty will yield more Experience, so make sure you try them more than once!

Once you have chosen a difficulty, you’ll enter the stage and be prompted to select the units you want to take into battle.

Once you’ve selected your units, you can deploy them on the field, but choose carefully as each unit has a cost to deploy on the battlefield. The more powerful the unit, the more it will cost to deploy them. The cost limit will increase along with your account level.

If you want to cancel your unit deployment, you can drag them to the trash bin on the lower left corner of the screen.

Removing unit from formation

The battle will start once you deploy your units and click on the “Start Battle” button.

One basic strategy you can employ in the early stages is to make sure you have a balanced team on the field; a Vanguard Class to tank damage on the frontlines, an Assaulter Class as your close-range damage dealer, and a Ranger Class as a long-range damage dealer from the rear.

Stronger and smarter enemies await you as you progress through the questline and through the stages, but the maximum amount of points you have to deploy your units will increase as well. This will allow you to deploy more units onto the battlefield, or maybe even stronger units that can take on enemies solo!

Happy questing!
