Rebonding Has Launched on WYND DAO

WYND DAO has multiple unbonding periods for $WYND stakers to select: 30, 90, 180, 360, and 730 days. WYND will remained staked forever until manually unbonded. The longer the unbonding period, the greater the multiplier for both staking rewards and voting power.

Rebonding

Rebonding gives WYND stakers the ability to bond to higher unbonding periods as well as allows users to retain voting power and receive staking rewards while moving to lower unbonding periods. For example:

In the example from the graphic above, it is important to note that the unbonding process still takes 365 days. Immediately after rebonding down to the next lower period, you begin earning the reward and voting power multiplier of the lower period. You will need to rebond up or down to the nearest unbonding period manually each time.

How to Rebond?

Once you enter https://app.wynddao.com/ on your PC or mobile, go to the Stake section. You will see the number of tokens you have bonded to each period. To rebond down:

1. Select the Manage button
2. Select Rebond Down

Notice that with unbond down, you will see “Warning: you must wait the difference between the current unbonding period and the new lower unbonding period before rebonding again”. For example, you are bonded to the 90 day period and rebond down to 30 days. You will need to wait 60 days until you can unstake or rebond up.

3. Enter the number of tokens you wish to rebond and select Rebond down to X days

4. Go to “Show Locked Tokens”

5. Here you can see all your current rebondings. If you hover over each, you can see the exact date the process will complete

Rebonding up is the same process. Except, you will immediately be bonded to the next tier up and receive increased staking rewards and voting power. For example, if you bonded for 180 days and wish you rebond up to 730 days, you will need to rebond to 365 first and then again to 730 days.
