WEPIN and METACULTURES Collaborate to Issue Digital Goods for the Musical <HADESTOWN>
Under this agreement, IoTrust’s Web3 wallet solution, ‘WEPIN,’ will be integrated with METACULTURES’ ‘X-PASS.’ The WEPIN wallet offers users the convenience of creating a wallet and receiving NFTs via social login.
METACULTURES is pioneering a new market by combining blockchain technology with the performing arts. Starting with NFT ticketing services, ‘X-PASS’ will expand into various areas such as the metaverse and membership NFTs.
The first project of this collaboration will provide specially produced digital goods free of charge to all attendees of the ‘HADESTOWN’ musical. Audience members can scan a QR code available within the venue and use the ‘NFT Hub Link’ on the connected site to easily receive their digital goods. The NFT Hub Link allows users to receive NFTs using only their email address, without the need to install a separate wallet, making it easy for those unfamiliar with blockchain technology to own digital souvenirs. NFT Hub Link was developed by WEPIN to enhance the convenience and accessibility of NFTs and is being applied to the performing arts sector for the first time through this collaboration with METACULTURES.
An IoTrust representative stated, “Through this collaboration, we aim to enhance the accessibility and convenience of the WEPIN wallet for X-PASS users, thereby contributing to the strengthening of the performing arts ecosystem.”
METACULTURES CEO Shin Yong-Un commented, “This partnership will create synergy between METACULTURES’ X-PASS and IoTrust’s Web3 wallet ‘WEPIN.’ We aim to create a new culture that fans of the arts can enjoy.”
The two companies plan to continue improving the user experience of METACULTURES by utilizing the WEPIN wallet and developing new content and IP services incorporating Web3 technology.

글로벌 WEB 3.0 문화공연 플랫폼 메타컬처스와 위핀 지갑을 운영하는 아이오트러스트가 MOU를 체결하고 뮤지컬 ‘하데스타운’ 관람객에게 디지털 굿즈를 제공한다.
이번 협약에 따라 아이오트러스트의 기업용 웹3 지갑 솔루션 ‘위핀’이 메타컬처스의 ‘X-PASS’에 연동될 예정이다. 위핀 지갑은 사용자들이 소셜 로그인을 통해 간편하게 지갑을 생성하고 NFT를 수령할 수 있는 기능을 제공한다.
메타컬처스는 블록체인 기술과 문화공연을 결합하여 새로운 시장을 개척하고 있으며, NFT 티켓 서비스를 시작으로 메타버스, 멤버십 NFT 등 다양한 사업을 진행하고 있다.
이번 협업의 첫 번째 프로젝트로, 뮤지컬 ‘하데스타운’ 공연을 기념하여 특별 제작된 디지털 굿즈를 관람객 전원에게 무료로 증정한다. 관람객들은 공연 티켓과 공연장 내 비치된 QR 코드를 스캔한 후 연결되는 사이트에서 ‘NFT 허브링크’를 통해 간편하게 디지털 굿즈를 수령할 수 있다.
NFT 허브 링크는 별도의 지갑 설치 없이 이메일 주소만으로 NFT를 받을 수 있어, 블록체인에 익숙하지 않은 관람객들도 쉽게 디지털 기념품을 소장할 수 있다. 이는 위핀이 NFT 편의성을 높이고 진입장벽을 낮추기 위해 개발한 기술로, 메타컬처스와의 협업을 통해 문화공연 분야에 첫 적용되는 사례이다.
아이오트러스트 관계자는 “이번 협력을 통해 X-PASS 사용자들에게 편리한 위핀 지갑을 제공하여 플랫폼의 접근성과 편의성을 높이고, 문화공연 생태계가 더욱 강화되는 데 기여하고 싶다”고 밝혔다.
메타컬처스 신용운 대표는 “이번 파트너십으로 메타컬처스의 ‘X-PASS’와 아이오트러스트의 웹3 지갑 ‘위핀’이 시너지를 낼 수 있을 것”이라며, “문화공연을 사랑하는 팬들이 즐길 수 있는 새로운 문화를 만들어내겠다”고 전했다.
두 회사는 앞으로도 위핀 지갑을 활용하여 메타컬처스의 사용자 경험을 개선하고, 웹3 기술을 접목한 새로운 콘텐츠와 IP 서비스를 개발해 나갈 계획이다.
