He’s Not a Turkey: President Biden Appallingly Pardons his son Hunter

--

In a move that proves that the Democrats are just as morally compromised as the Republicans, the President proves that he and his family are above the law

In a move that has shown, yet again, how out of touch if politically if not morally the Democratic party and the current president are, President Joe Biden pardoned his son, Hunter of both tax evasion and firearm offenses over Thanksgiving.

As American as turkey and apple pie, right?

Actually, it is a sign of a country where the rule of law is failing, rapidly, and being politicized, just as rapidly. As Jenna Ellis, a former Trump lawyer on the 2020 election team said, ironically, “Joe Biden pardoned three turkeys this week.” And while this pardon is a far cry from forgiving a president for inciting a coups, there are principles here. And Hunter Biden has been a dangerous mess for a long time. He is not “innocent.”

The move has, predictably, sent shockwaves through Washington and beyond especially given the many issues raised by incoming President Trump’s attempts to clearly politicize every agency of government, starting with the Justice Department and the FBI and on the heels of his nomination of Kash Patel to head the FBI.
