Hero Card | Gameplay Introduction

Gameplay

The gameplay of Hero Card is heavily inspired by the well-known card game “Rummy” but with the added twist of earning $XWG tokens through regular gameplay.

Players will compete as individuals in matchmade group battles with the goal of obtaining a matching pair of Hero Cards in your hand. Each game will consist of eight total opponents, with the first turn being taken by the player at the top and then rotating clockwise from there.

On each player's turn, they will place one card from their hand into the center pile, and pick one card from the center pile to place into their hand. Once a player has three of the same Hero Cards in their hand, they win!

Obtaining Hero Cards

Players will be able to obtain Hero Card NFTs for their decks by purchasing mystery boxes available on the BinanceNFT marketplace, or through the in-game store.

Each character Hero Card NFT will have four elemental variations. Every character will have a Fire, Water, Earth and Wind form, each with their own unique art style!

Players will also be able to synthesize specific cards with the in-game “composite” system by sacrificing lower-quality Dream Cards from Dream V1 and V2.

Once a player has obtained five Hero Card cards and has added them to their Hero Card deck, they can begin finding PvP matches from the main menu.

Rewards

One of the best features of play-to-earn games is the ability for players to monetize their own time spent playing a game. In Hero Card, the play-to-earn aspect takes center stage by allowing players to win $XWG regardless of whether they win or lose a match in Hero Card.

There will be two primary rewards provided to Hero Card players. Lottery Tickets and Bills will be the primary rewards for participating in Hero Card battles.

Lottery tickets are granted to winners of Hero Card battles. When used, lottery tickets will grant players with Hero Cards that can be further exchanged for $XWG rewards, or to get a piece of the grand pool prizes!

Bills will only be granted to the losers of Hero Card battles. Bills can be directly exchanged for a small amount of $XWG at a variable exchange rate. The main purpose of the Bills currency is to help players recover a portion of their entry cost for participating in Hero Card battles.

Reward Redemption

Once a player has collected a number of Hero Cards in their inventory, they can redeem them for special prizes at the Grant Pool.

There will be two reward options in the Grant Pool:

  1. A varying reward that has an upper limit reward value of 1 million $XWG.
  2. A fixed reward that can be accessed so long as there are enough rewards left in the prize pool to be given out.

Reward exchanges will usually consume a minimum of 4 Hero Cards but can vary depending on the reward amount with higher rewards requiring more “Limited Hero Cards” to be consumed, up to 40.

Lastly, when Hero Cards are exchanged for rewards, the rewards will be provided in the form of Bills, which can then be exchanged for $XWG tokens.
