DETECTION of ANOMALOUS HUMAN INTERACTIONS on LIMESTONE FEEDING at Leone La Ferla lime plant
U-MANO Industrial Digital Operator supports X4LIME TEAM to investigate the human interaction at Leone La Ferla lime plant.
What did our team find?
Within the framework of Mosaico X Digital WORKSPACE, X4LIME Team has been able to highlight an anomalous trend on LIMESTONE FEEDING EQUIPMENT of PFR lime kiln operating at Leone La Ferla. Consequently, the team has carried out more detailed analysis around FEEDING SYSTEM in order to detect the origin of the problem.
What was the trigger for this analysis?
The analysis was possible thanks to #U-MANO, the Industrial Digital Operator which identify and analyse the human interaction into the industrial plant of Leone La Ferla.
Specifically, U-MANO detected the hits related to the top human events during the same period in which the above problem arose.
The digital operator identified, within the list of the top 5 most recursive occurrences in that month, a specific human interaction linked to the LIMESTONE FEEDING line.
By implication, U-MANO highlighted a particular correlation between the above mentioned event and the alarm related to the LIMESTONE FEEDING.
What was the value to the customer?
Thanks to this analysis, the plant manager obtained all the relevant information to analyse, together with his operational team, what was going on the LIMESTONE FEEDING area. Consequently, they discovered an anomalous human habit of discharging completely the line without it was always necessary. Therefore, they decided to implement some corrective action on operator training and by placing additional sensors that will enhance visibility on what is really going on on the top of the kiln.
“When actions speak louder than words: Using changes in operator behaviour and system efficiency measures to improve the operational” process and the working conditions.”
