At GALVAPNO’s plant, equipped with QualiCal’s state-of-the-art Parallel Flow Regenerative Synthesis Kiln SYN90, equipped with all the latest digital technologies to support site operation.
our #iDO, the Industrial Digital Operator working within Mosaico Digital WORKSPACE, detected unusual frequencies in lime quality inspections. The inspections specifically revolved around both shafts’ lime extracting drawers, indicating possible lime quality issues. Such anomalies are not just potential warning signs for quality inconsistencies, but they could also signal risks tied to equipment and personnel safety.
What was the trigger for this analysis?
iDO, designed to continuously monitor, analyze, and report on field data, flagged the anomaly when it identified an unusual inspection frequency in both KILN SHAFTs DISCHARGE AREA.
The repeated opening of inspection doors for both shafts, which is not a routine operation, caught iDO’s attention. Our digital operative system swiftly pushed notifications warning of potential quality issues, emphasizing the unusual nature of these checks.
