JSW STEEL optimized Lime Kiln firing system experience within the framework of MOSAICO workspace
JSW Steel Ltd, Dolvi Plant entrusted order for “Conversion of Fuel from Coal to Mixed Gas ( BF+CO) to QualiCal for 3 Kilns (1 x 300tpd Round Pillar Design, 1 x 300tpd Rectangular & 1 x 600tpd Round Design). The order was inclusive of implementing X4LIME MOSAICO workspace all around the three kilns.
The commissioning of Kiln 1 was done in Oct 2018, Kiln 2 in Nov 2018 and Kiln 3 in Jan 2019 successfully and the lime production experience within MOSAICO workspace started consequently.

- ABACO completely manages the burning control system to allow a smooth and regular fuel feeding and avoid over and under temperature in the channel that may cause excess of fuel consumption and undesired risks to plant and product.
- Managing the Real-time feedback of waste gases analysis, ABACO creates fuel injection profiles during the cycle that automatically adjust the excess of air to avoid waste of unburnt fuel.
