On March 9, 2016 Twitter and international media erupted with the news of Alpha Go, an AI algorithm winning against the world №2 player of Go, a game invented in China more than 2,500 years ago and believed to be the oldest board game continuously played to the present day.
Alpha-Go won 4 out 5 matches against Lee Sedol.
