Professional Presentation Proposal
The American Marketing Association is hosting their annual higher education marketing conference Dec. 4–7. The conference focuses on the practice of higher education marketing and provides ideas and solutions participants can apply at their own institutions.
For a little under a year I have been managing Middle Georgia State University’s official Instagram account. Since the consolidation and the new university status, the biggest challenge with managing the account was trying to rebrand the university and make it applicable to a broad audience. I came up with a strategic plan on how to manage the account, and it has been successful. I would like to propose these strategies and incorporate a statistical analysis on follower and image engagement. A couple benefits of my presentation include an increase in recognition of my leadership and expertise, and a raise visibility for a institution or company.
