Welcome to our Month In Review, where we discuss the important developments within the XBorg ecosystem that occurred in the previous month.

Product

Team Liquid MyBlue Early Access

One of our most significant milestones in June was when, together with Team Liquid and Sui Network, we launched MyBlue early access. MyBlue is Team Liquid’s next-gen fan platform, their new home for fans from all four corners of the globe. Where fans can customise their own version of Blue, Team Liquid’s mascot, complete quests, earn exclusive digital and physical rewards, climb the leaderboards, and connect with other fans.

Early access is only available to the first 2,000 signups, so hurry and sign up now if you want to access the exclusive events and rewards Team Liquid has in store. We’d also love to hear your feedback and suggestions after using MyBlue.

MyBlue has already brought over 10,000 transactions to the Sui Network, and over 1,000 avatars have been minted on-chain, placing MyBlue into the top 20 most-used apps in the Sui ecosystem.

Ninjas in Pyjamas: The Dojo Referral Campaign

Together with Ninjas in Pyjamas, we launched their referral campaign for their fan platform, The Dojo. Users can sign up for The Dojo, refer their friends, and earn extra XP and gift cards from Steam and Amazon. This is the first of many activities we will do with Ninjas in Pyjamas for The Dojo. Stay tuned to their socials in July to avoid missing out.

Launchpad Update

June was a busy month for the XBorg Launchpad. Our team has been working hard to deliver a constant stream of high-quality deal flow to XBorg NFT holders. RoboKiden, DARKTIMES and Sparkball were the three deals listed with us in June. Additionally, we released a comprehensive review of all of the XBorg Launchpad deals, including updates from their teams and performance metrics. In the short term, the XBorg Launchpad will take a hiatus from providing new deals as the market sentiment is not ideal, and our team will focus on developing version 1.5.

Token

Wormhole NTT Framework Integration

We announced that we’ve integrated Wormhole’s Native Token Transfers (NTT) framework to bridge our XBG token, currently deployed on the Ethereum blockchain, to the Solana and Arbitrum blockchains. The token bridge will be made available on bridge.xborg.com. By integrating Wormhole’s NTT framework, we are taking a significant step forward in enhancing the functionality and accessibility of our XBG token. If you’d like to learn more about this integration, please view our full announcement.

Reduced Vesting and Lock

We decided to set the unlock and vesting of community-raised XBG tokens to begin on May 4th, 2024, just a day after our presale ended, instead of the day the XBG token launches on exchanges. Participants in the XBG Presale, community seed round, and KOL round are only eligible for this new schedule. We want to ensure our token launch strategy results in the best outcome for XBorg and its holders. This might cause delays, and we didn’t want this to impact our community. Please note that holders can only claim their unlocked XBG tokens on the day it launches on exchanges. Stay tuned as we will share more news about the XBG token in the coming weeks.

Company

Recruitment

In June, we welcomed three new members to the XBorg team. Michael, a Senior Back-End Engineer; Gift, a Senior Front-End Engineer; and Dani, a QA Lead. We’re taking our time to find the right hires and ensure that our monthly burn rate stays efficient. Additionally, we’re looking for a QA Engineer to strengthen our team.

Community

Growth

This month, we received 267,000 impressions on X, decreasing by 49% from May, while our engagement rate went up by 17% to 6.4%. On Discord, our new members increased by 478 people, 71.9% less than in May, while our monthly communicators dropped to 126 from 673.

X Spaces

In June, we hosted hyped gaming projects, The Beacon and Astra Nova, and learnt about their ongoing NFT mints and airdrop campaigns. We also hosted Jutsu World, which is built on Injective and uses the innovative 404 NFT standard. Seedify Founder, Meta Alchemist shared his insights on improving the effectiveness of airdrop campaigns. Cozyverse and Moonveil joined us to discuss the current state of gaming following the Xbox Showcase. To mark The Fireplace #35, we invited the XBorg founding team for a special Community Townhall focused on the XBG token, GamerBase and our roadmap.

Discord Events

We kicked off our new XBG Bootcamp initiative for the summer. It is a game night hosted on Discord every Thursday at 6 pm UTC for eight weeks. Multiple games are on rotation, and there are different ways to win rewards, such as PC hardware and XBG tokens. It’s bound to be a load of fun.

That’s a wrap for June. The second half of 2024 is shaping up to be exciting for XBorg with the XBG token launch, new product releases, and partnership announcements. If you have questions or want to connect with us, join our Discord community.
