361,668 XLD Tokens Burnt in the Second XLD Burn Event

XcelDefi (XLD) conducted its second token burn on the 15th of June 2022. The project burnt a total of 361,668 XLD tokens worth $3.640k at the time of the burn.

Last month in May, XcelDefi announced that it would burn its token on a monthly basis on the 15th of every month until 50 million XLD were permanently destroyed. The total token burn would account for about 46% of the total initial supply of XLD. This would reduce the overall initial supply to just 61 million.

The amount of XLD tokens to be burned from the loyalty supply wallet and from the market depends on:

• Gross profits collected from XcelPay and XcelTrip revenue(giftcards, token swap, staking, buy with cards, hotels and flight booking charges and so on) ·
• Trading fees collected from XcelSwap developer address
• Different milestones achieved under vertices of Xcellab Ecosystem including XcelTrip, XcelPay and XcelSwap
• Revenue collected from selling NFTs after the launch of XcelNFT(14 peaks)
• XLD collected on dev address from daily minting via XcelSwap Farms, burned till initial supply of 111 million is complete.

This month’s burn details:

Total Token Burn: 361,668 XLD

10% Gross Revenue — booking fees collected from XcelTrip for the month of May- $1487 , accounted for 156,526 XLD burn (bought from the market @0.0095 per XLD).

10% Gross Revenue- token swaps and buying fees collected from XcelPay Wallet from the month of May- $2154, accounted for 205,142 XLD burns (bought from the market @0.0105 per XLD).
