To create a FIO username using XcelPay Wallet follow these simple steps:
On the XcelPay Wallet app, go to the user’s menu and tap on FIO HUb drop down menu and click on Fio name, requests and more.
Go to Register FIO name and type a customer FIO name with XcelPay user domain, by clicking on ‘Get a free @xcelpay FIO name’. Estimated fee for registering a FIO name is 10.89 FIO, but the first 1,00,000 crypto addresses can create FIO usernames for free! Your username will be created within seconds.
Instead of your currently registered address, you can get a new Fio name anytime on XcelPay Wallet by simply going to ‘Register new Fio name’.
Now, Go to “Map Address” tab and map your blockchain addresses with the FIO username or FIO address that you have just created.
To initiate a transaction, go to XcelPay Wallet and fill in the amount and coin details and tap on FIO Request. Fill in the Payer’s FIO address and “Request Payment”.
After validating the payer’s FIO address, the payer will get a Payment Notification.
Users can easily track pending transactions on the ‘Pending FIO Request’ tab on FIO Hub in XcelPay Wallet.
