Sourcing the best developers from GitHub
GitHub is a community of developers that share code. You need to have a clear understanding of what you’re looking for unless you want an endless pile of results that lead you on a wild-goose chase. Trust me when I say this, GitHub is not a place for the “title” recruiters. If you want to find the developers in their backyard, you have to earn induction into that house. If you’re looking for a software engineer, you’d be better served NOT using the term “software engineer” in your query and instead search for stack/library/framework on which the software engineer is working. When I say inducted into their house, I do not expect you to start learning how to code and write hundreds of lines and contribute to the developer community. I mean to say, you need to start thinking like one, and even better if you start acting like one.
