For centuries, societies have devised & experimented with various organizational structures for effective decision-making. Such systems have supported entities within the community to reach a consensus and find the best solution for the whole. However, video game development and live operations are often conducted in a completely centralized method, ruling out the most relevant parties to the product: Players & Developers. As a result, developers and creators were often forced to accept mega-platforms and publishers’ sale strategies, and players didn’t get a say on which direction the game should be developed or updated.

XOCIETY DAO or X-DAO is a framework to delegate authority to various gaming community entities to tackle multiple issues of dev and ops from a widened perspective and manage the ecosystem with joint effort. Team NDUS is committed to designing a new decision-making structure to fully adapt to the rapidly changing development environment. The team is confident that decentralization is not an option; it is imperative to the survival of a gaming studio and community.
