Fairness for creators & Co-Working

Every day, hundreds of video game mods are published across Web2 from vibrant creative communities. Nowadays, the scope of modding covers almost every aspect of game development, design, and artwork, from 3D modeling to Level Design. To meet the needs of the players, competition for higher-quality mods is also becoming more intense, as some mods require hundreds of hours to develop, and subscribers are pushing for ever faster updates. As a result, publishers enjoy the fruit of lengthened Product Life Cycle, generating higher revenues but with minimal work.

However, these creators are not appropriately rewarded. Most are still reliant on donations, or a few “Upvote” emotes for their efforts. To address this unfairness, XOCIETY will expand into a creation-based gaming metaverse, where contributors are substantially rewarded for the effort.

This requires a comprehensive spectrum of dev infrastructure to build a creative community, from game editor to asset converter. Team NDUS is aware of the resources needed to realize this goal. However, the team is committed to a fair gaming community where contributors are recognized and rewarded.

Co-Work from the beginning

On the Web2 dev scene, users are rarely granted access to the product in development, not to mention able to influence this development. XOCIETY is introducing the concept of “Co-Work” to draw various Web 3.0 entities into development from early stages. The drive is already underway, as the first event to name one NPC and recommend her gear was held within XOCIETY’s communities. Those who entered into co-work, including the winner, were awarded NTx, a Soulbound Token that was introduced to quantify the dedication of community members.

As the infrastructure for creation expands, Team NDUS is planning to issue a variety of mod requests to the community, including artwork, voice recording, character script, and even smart contracts. The community will evaluate submitted mods, and the creations upvoted by members will officially be added to the world of XOCIETY. Such dedication will be rewarded with substantial benefits, including Mintlist, FTs, and NFTs. This new concept of a decentralized development cycle, building a product with the community from the beginning, is an experiment Team NDUS is eager to work on.
