It’s a mysterious look at the Corporate Factions that made up Earth and their role in XOCIETY now, especially in a place dominated by NDUS.

MOTUS, Corporate Factions and NDUS, what’s the deal?
Even with Red being in direct contact with NDUS he still had questions and mysteries to unravel, some of which Team NDUS is keeping close to its chest. However, there’s more to talk about, MOTUS and the history of the three Corporate Factions that dominate Earth, so let’s jump in.
MOTUS, its grades & uses
Red shared his basic understanding of MOTUS from his chats with NDUS, he’s 100% right that MOTUS is the thing he needs. But he was missing out on some key parts of MOTUS. Luckily Team NDUS had some extra details to share, so let’s look a little deeper.
MOTUS is the core TOKEN split across the world of XOCIETY. In game MOTUS comes in 4 separate grades, each being collected via your Companion Bot — more details on that bot next week! But how can you get this super useful token?
MOTUS is collected from activities that you do across XOCIETY, simple tasks can net you a small amount of MOTUS, it’s useful but more MOTUS can be earned by doing harder tasks. Simple looting and shooting can help you collect some but if you engage in more collaborative work, such as taking down raid bosses, you’ll see the MOTUS reward volume increase.
How MOTUS can be earned and it’s grading split will be revealed in detail later, but right now. Team NDUS is happy to confirm some core MOTUS details.
All MOTUS is MOTUS 0, which needs to be refined into grades. The higher the grade the harder the refinement process. MOTUS 1 to MOTUS 4 has refining rations of 50/49/0.99/0.01, respectively. That MOTUS 4 sure is hard to come by.
But what can you do with MOTUS?
MOTUS 1
MOTUS 1 (ONE): Used for composition and conversion of materials, with a conversion of 50%, a great base, converting into a conventional plastic like material ready for building with.
Not only that but it can be converted into a like for like material. For example, you could convert your clothing to another, specific brand, if you have enough MOTUS particles. Oh, and to keep a healthy market, you’ll need a license for that brand.
MOTUS 2
MOTUS 2 (TWO): A fuel like substance with a conversion rate of 49%. It can be used as a heat source for activities such as cooking food, to heating polymers for experimentation, thanks to its ultra-high temperature. However, due to the MOTUS 2 Particles existing in an electron state, they need to be converted to actual flame.
MOTUS 3
MOTUS 3 (THREE): A particularly useful but rare explosive material with a refining ratio of 0.99%. Predominantly used for military purposes, you’ll need a highly controlled license to get your hands on this. Adding to this complexity is the changes on explosion type and intensity, all dependent on how the particles are decomposed.
MOTUS 4
MOTUS 4 (FOUR): The rarest substance, with a refining rate of just 0.01%. Due to its huge energy density, it can be used for gravity control and interestingly, as nano-portal technology, if processed correctly.
MOTUS 4 energy and the amount held was at the core of power struggles before the great hibernation. Even in the post NDUS shake up of the Corporate Factions, competition over MOTUS 4 is incredibly fierce.
You’ll need to use all grades of MOTUS to power your time in XOCIETY, improving weapons, importing assets, powering your ride and more. MOTUS and your control over it makes the difference between being a power in the world or just being at other’s mercy.
The three Corporate Factions corporations of Earth…
Red had some bad info, while he knew of the Corporate Factions, what he remembered was outdated.
In its time shepherding humankind over 50,000 years NDUS has had the chance to adjust and upgrade the Corporate Factions, including logos. Notice the differences?
All part of NDUS’s work, removing the Corporate Factions as threats to itself and rebuilding them into useful aides for NDUS and you in XOCIETY.
Let’s check out exactly what each one will do for you!
In XOCIETY all three Corporate Factions have been molded into hyper convenient groups, specializing in unique services. All have been dramatically improved in their level of service thanks to the “management” of NDUS. But just what do they do?
AKKORD
Masters of distribution. Need something somewhere at some time? AKKORD will get it done, no issue. AKKORD is also key to the management of NFT items as well as core items you’ll use in XOCIETY.
Any NFT item you want to bring into XOCIETY, AKKORD provides the service.
AKKORD, thanks to NDUS’s corrections is staffed by cheerful attendants, but when it comes to paying for your service, they don’t miss a beat and are more thorough than anyone else.
KONZERT
In the time before, NDUS improved all the Corporate Factions, KONZERT had a great line of qualifications and accreditations. Want the word to know your an expert? A KONZERT License makes the difference.
In the post NDUS reconstruct, KONZERT are still the team to show you’ve got the skills. However, thanks to the efforts of NDUS, it’s impossible to act without a license. With multiple grades each license helps your progress and improve the work you do and the rewards possible.
NDUS not only “improved the safety” by forcing license adoption but also armed all employees with a friendly attitude and thorough professionalism.
BLATT
Cuts, burns, bruises, or bleeding, BLATT will take care of you. However, that wasn’t all they did. Need your body to do more? Not a physically impressive specimen? BLATT had the tools to modify you and make YOU2.0.
In fact, NDUS paid special attention to this Corporate Faction, after all, bodies in XOCIETY have been deeply modified. New skin, new abilities and the new MOTUS production. NDUS took the work of BLATT and turbocharged it, applying it to all in XOCIETY.
In the new NDUS overviewed BLATT, intelligent, hard-nosed, elite staff will greet and service you.

First up, @nachomito came in with a great question about XOCIETY NFT Avatars:
Team NDUS delivered the goods, dropping deets. Specifically talking about the difference between Common Avatars and Frontier NFT Avatars.
Common Avatars are fully customizable with various skin colors. The more interesting Frontier Avatars are minted as NFT, each with a truly unique design, and are locked in with skin TEXTUS, thus maintaining an original design to ensure they are forever unique.
Both Common Avatars and Frontier Avatars can represent as female or male. Team NDUS even has a few alternative Frontier NFT Avatars to show off.

@Ramaine_2tru took their shot and went in with a weapons question asking just what will be at your disposal in XOCIETY…
XOCIETY at its core is based on TPS (Third Person Shooter) designs. However, players will have other options available to them. Melee weapons are viable options for both players and enemies.
Team NDUS is keen to show off more of this later, but for now, rest assured, that you’ll be able to mix it up.
Extra Details from Team NDUS
It was awesome to shine a little light on what Red shared, thanks to the questions across Twitter. However, Team NDUS wanted to give a bit more detail on some core concepts Red introduced.
MOTUS energy…
MOTUS energy was encountered by RED, it’s a semi-familiar topic to him but with those memory gaps, there are still some things that he didn’t pick up on.
Luckily Team NDUS has some extra bits to share. MOTUS is the core way to create, enhance and trade across XOCIETY. Not only that but it’s split into tiers. Some are more powerful than others.
Going further, bodies in XOCIETY have been significantly tweaked to enhance their MOTUS generation. Which is lucky, if your run out of MOTUS you run the risk of getting locked from doing anything outside of Caelum, more on Caelum later…
Caelum 0064…
Red is part of Caelum 0064, one of the hibernation zones for humankind. Across Earth, hundreds of Caelums exist, each with their population. But why did NDUS start with Caelum 0064? Indeed it’s an odd one to choose to wake up first. Wouldn’t you open the Caelums in order, beginning with Caelum 0001?
Team NDUS will be sharing more details about the roles of Caelums and this interesting choice by NDUS the AI to open Caelum 0064 in the future.
Waking up after 50,000 years…
Red woke up after 50,000 years, and all he could get out from NDUS AI was this time had been chosen as it was now safe. However, Team NDUS is willing to drop a little bit more detail.
50,000 years have passed, and while it’s true that it’s now safe to open up the Earth to pioneering, there’s a deeper reason. It all focuses on MOTUS a super useful item across XOCIETY.
Humankind consumes vast quantities of MOTUS a fantastic energy, but one that needs harvesting. The greatest minds across Earth managed to calculate that the most effective way of gathering MOTUS was a deep hibernation for the population.
While in Hibernation, MOTUS would be generated by the dreams of those hibernating and gathered to create a vast store of energy.
But 50,000 years still seems a long time, and only NDUS the AI truly knows why…
Red and your new bodies…
As Red found out, your body has had some major upgrades, helping it to collect MOTUS and deal with the realities of the new Earth and Pioneering.
However, there’s one big thing that Red didn’t get. Those upgrades? That new body? There was no choice, NDUS the AI made a choice. All of those in XOCIETY had to have bodies their replaced.
Oh, and that loss of memories, all connected. Team NDUS is not quite ready to reveal all about NDUS and its actions but rest assured as you progress in XOCIETY you’ll discover more. About NDUS, its motives, and just what NDUS has done…
