From the beginning, our goal as a company has been simple: to combine emerging technologies like augmented reality and the Internet of Things in a way that makes the whole physical world digitally interactive. Since our launch in August 2016, we have been creating a unified network tailor-made for devices called the Real World Web (RWW), which merges these new technologies to deliver mixed reality experiences to consumers via any mobile or OS device. Today, we’re proud to announce our Series A funding round to continue to expand the capabilities of the Real World Web.

Since our launch, we’ve worked with a top-tier roster of partners, including the New York Jets, Sacramento Kings, Pepsi, and Bud Light — some of the most visionary franchises actively integrating modern technology to revolutionize branded customer engagement. In fact, integration of our technologies helped the Sacramento Kings win SportTechie’s most prestigious “Most Tech Savvy Sports Team of 2016” award. We also worked with the New York Jets to create their “I Called It” app, which was recognized in SportTechie’s “Most Innovative Sports Team” award in December. With this new investment round, we’re excited for what’s to come and thrilled to help other brands revitalize their customer engagement strategies and unlock new sources of loyalty and revenue.

How the RWW Enables Experiential Marketing 2.0

One of the fastest-growing areas for interactive technologies is the marketing and advertising industry. Experiential marketing is growing, with the AR and VR software markets expected to reach $215 billion by 2021. With the proliferation of mobile advertising over the last decade, many brands are looking to incorporate experiential marketing into their business strategies in order make every customer interaction interesting and valuable. Brands that meet these expectations gain both business and customer loyalty. With the RWW, our approach to combining all types of mobile platforms with every type of trigger puts the consumer first, connecting them with the brand at step two of the process. This type of cross-channel marketing, what we like to call “Experiential Marketing 2.0,” has resulted in dramatically increased retention, user interest and overall customer engagement (conversion rates, interactions, and session times) at a rate 20x higher than those of Google, Snap, Twitter, and Instagram.

Expanding Our Use Cases to Make Xperiel Technology Universally Applicable

As vertical industries become more receptive to modern technologies, custom-made applications will transform the way consumers interact with businesses, each other and the world around them. With today’s funding, we are expanding our business offerings to help create applications for companies in retail, healthcare, food and beverage, and other industries to successfully deploy and expand the fast-growing RWW.

We’re grateful for the support from our investors and the faith that they have in our mission to recreate the relationship between between new and existing technologies, and re-imagine what it means to be “online” versus “offline.” We are excited for the next phase of our company’s growth, and to provide everyone with the tools needed to build their own corner of the Real World Web.
