Today, we are thrilled to announce the launch of MonsterSwap, the EVM-compatible decentralized exchange (DEX) on XPLA! Sharing the backbone structure of the Uniswap V3, it is built on the concept of a concentrated liquidity market maker (CLMM). Without further ado, let’s explore MonsterSwap and the new territory it’s opened up!

What is MonsterSwap?

MonsterSwap is an EVM DEX that enables the swapping of various crypto assets at the most optimal rates possible. MonsterSwap offers the swap of cross-chain assets, while also allowing participants to contribute liquidity pairs to pools.

2. Before You Start

🐱‍👤 You first need to add the XPLA network on Metamask. Here’s how!

On your Metamask, click on the Network button at the top
Tab on [Add Network]
Add the XPLA network!

▪ Network Name: XPLA Mainnet
▪ RPC Url: https://dimension-evm-rpc.xpla.dev/
▪ Chain ID: 37
▪ Symbol: XPLA

💡TIP: If the NINKY token does not show up in your Metamask, Please add the contract address for NINKY.

Click on the ‘Import token’ button in MetaMask.
In the ‘CUSTOM TOKEN’ pop-up, enter the NINKY token contract address.
Check if the token has been successfully added to your wallet’s token list.

3. Step-by-Step Guide on Using MonsterSwap

Step 1: Go to MonsterSwap.

Step 2: Connect your Metamask wallet with MonsterSwap.

Step 3: Swap Tokens and Provide Liquidity!

You can select a token of your choice: XPLA, WXPLA, NINKY, mUSDC, and swap it for another!

<Provide Liquidity>

In the [Pools] menu of MonsterSwap, you can start a new position by providing a pair of your choice.

Here you can create a pair using two tokens and provide it to the pool. Also, You can set the rate and price range of your choice.

*This pool must be initialized before you can add liquidity. To initialize, select a starting price for the pool. Then, enter your liquidity price range and deposit amount. Gas fees will be higher than usual due to the initialization transaction.

4. Fee Structure

In MonsterSwap, with each swap that occurs, a predetermined fee percentage is collected as a transaction fee from the pool where the swap took place. Different fee percentages will be set depending on the type of token pair. For pools involving stablecoins or assets pegged to each other, a 0.01% fee rate will be applied, while for token pairs with no price correlation, fee pools with rates of 0.05%, 0.3%, and 1% will be created.
