We’re here to wrap up and share with you what we’ve done in KBW2023🌐, Asia’s largest blockchain conference, held in Seoul from September 4th to 10th.
Known as one of the most grandiose gatherings in the industry, KBW2023 attracted over 200 global blockchain speakers, including our own leader, Kyu Lee👏.
The event also boasted an incredible lineup of more than 230 side events over the weekend, making it a hot topic of discussion in the industry. Additionally, attendance this year shattered last year’s record of 8,700, soaring to an impressive 10,000 participants!📈
Over impactful days at KBW2023, XPLA dazzled the blockchain community, solidifying its role as a transformative leader in the rapidly expanding Web3 ecosystem. From a captivating showroom that vividly brought the immersive world of Web3 gaming to life to insightful panel discussions led by our visionary leaders, XPLA proved itself to be more than just a participant — it showcased its role as a driving force in this evolving field.
Furthermore, our high-energy networking events served as a catalyst for new partnerships and fortified existing alliances, further consolidating XPLA’s influence in the global blockchain sphere!

💠XPLA Show Room
Our showroom served as a focal point for meaningful interactions in an immersive environment, specifically highlighting current trends in sustainability and innovative blockchain gaming to the attendees.
A continuous stream of games onboarded on XPLA — such as MiniGame Party, Ace Fishing: CREW, and Summoners War: Chronicles— was showcased on large screens. Additionally, an oversized figurine from Summoners War: Chronicles was displayed, accompanied by a range of XPLA merchandise.
Visitors lingered in the showroom, showing significant interest in our project. We seized this opportunity to offer them a unique experience in Web3 gaming, thereby elevating awareness for our project.
Our showroom was the ultimate manifestation of Web3!

One of our leaders, Kyu Lee, led a pivotal session at KBW2023 on “The Disruptive Potential of Blockchain in the Gaming Industry,” along with Han Yoo from NOD Games, Tin Nguyen from Ather Labs, and moderated by Kijun Seo of Planetarium Labs.
The session focused on several key themes. First, it highlighted the need for blockchain technology to provide genuine ownership of in-game items and assets. Second, it explored the transformative shift toward Web3 as a means to decentralize the gaming industry. Finally, it delved into the critical importance of transparency for both games and digital assets while examining ways to counteract game inflation.
By prioritizing player ownership and fostering interactive relationships within the Web3 gaming ecosystem, the discussion emphasized our commitment to evolving the sector through transparency and decentralized governance.

Our leader Paul Kim and Director Michael Lee participated in a total of three side events, providing deep insights into Web3 games based on XPLA’s strong value proposition.
Team XPLA stated,
“The Korean gaming industry already holds a leading position, having surpassed a market size of 20 trillion won and ranking fourth in the global gaming market. This suggests that the Korean gaming industry could become the next big issue in the Web3 gaming sector as well.
Following this trend, XPLA is solidifying its position in the Web3 gaming industry thanks to strong partnerships with industry titans like Com2uS in Korea. We’re continuously expanding our ecosystem with a focus on the gaming and entertainment sectors.”
Moreover, the discussions were constructive and lively, with the focus on the optimistic outlook that blockchain games could play a significant role in mass adoption.

We hosted a side event in collaboration with IVC to connect with a variety of companies. These meetings were more than just casual exchanges; they served as crucial opportunities to strengthen the foundations of trust and collaboration.
Without the unwavering support and interest from our XPLA community members and partners, the achievements we’ve made so far would not have been possible. Their passion and engagement have been the driving forces behind XPLA’s technological innovations and its solid standing in the market.
Through these networking sessions, we were able to create diverse synergies and share our strategic goals and directions for the future. This was an important step in further fortifying the robust foundation necessary for XPLA’s sustainable growth.
🎉Night Event with XPLA, packed with insightful discussions!
The XPLA Official Night Event co-hosted with IVC was a grand affair that took place in a sprawling outdoor space, completely adorned with XPLA branding. Over a thousand Web3 enthusiasts attended, creating an environment for engaging in deep discussions about each other’s projects.
We curated an event where the unique character of XPLA stood out remarkably. The crowd was absolutely captivated by the XPLA-themed lighting that illuminated the beautiful evening.
At this event, we successfully engaged with new prospective partners and deepened our relationships with key existing partners, thereby expanding international networking opportunities and avenues for collaboration.
Our event was surely one of the most stylish, splendid, and extensive side events that took place in the KBW Festival!
