XPLA participated in Japan Blockchain Week (JBW), the largest blockchain event in Japan, held from June 18th to July 9th, 2023.

On the international stage of JBW, XPLA garnered attention for its unwavering commitment to revolutionizing the blockchain gaming ecosystem. We took the stage as speakers at prestigious events like ‘Non Fungible Tokyo 2023’ & ‘IVS CRYPTO 2023 KYOTO’, where we shared our inspiring P2O (Play to Own) narrative and presented our visionary philosophy on blockchain gaming.

Through our participation in JBW, XPLA set out on an ambitious journey to promote inventive advancements in the blockchain gaming sectors of both Korea and Japan. Our relentless efforts have resulted in remarkable achievements, including successful partnership signings with Yield Guild Games and OASYS.

But that’s not all! We are expanding into Japan through our partnership with Oasys. With their dedicated support, the launch of Summoners War: Chronicles on XPLA will be serviced in Japan as well.🎉

“Non Fungible Tokyo 2023”

As a primary participating project, XPLA had the honor of taking part in “NFT TOKYO.” The event garnered the attention of over 70 renowned blockchain experts from around the world, who delivered informative and insightful presentations.

Leader of XPLA, Paul Kim, was also among the esteemed speakers, highly respected in the field.

1️⃣ Shifting Narratives from P2E to P2O

During the event, XPLA’s leader, Paul Kim, took the stage to deliver a session titled “Shifting Narratives from P2E to P2O,” shedding light on a paradigm shift in the gaming industry.

According to Paul, XPLA is at the forefront of the gaming industry revolution with its P2O (Play to Own) model, aiming for a seamless transition from Web2 to Web3 by prioritizing ownership in free-to-play environments.

Through Paul’s speech, the unwavering focus on XPLA’s long-term sustainability and the P2O model were explored, captivating the audience’s attention!

2️⃣ The Next NFT Trend

In the next session, Paul Kim engaged in a discussion on the topic of “The Next NFT Trend” with Gabby Dizon, the founder of Web3 Gaming Guild YGG, and Jeffrey Zirlin, the co-founder of Sky Mavis. During the session, Paul shared XPLA’s vision to enable Adaptive NFTs, which allow for the dynamic change of each NFT’s properties along with the changes made in games, adding more fun to the gaming experience.

Paul stated, “Numerous games on XPLA have integrated NFT components, although with limited success, as they fell short of being ideal models for Web3 gaming. In response, we have initiated a dedicated and ongoing research and development initiative to explore more effective ways of incorporating NFTs into games. Our primary focus is to investigate the potential of adaptive NFTs and their transformative impact on gaming dynamics.”

XPLA participated in “IVS Crypto 2023 Kyoto,” the largest global crypto conference in Japan, with over 10,000 attendees and 700 speakers. At the conference, Com2uS USA’s CEO, Kyu Lee, and XPLA CEO, Paul Kim, were invited as keynote speakers.

1️⃣ Major Web2 Gaming Studios Migrating to Web3

The session titled “Major Web2 Gaming Studios Migrating to Web3” kicked off the event with Michael Lee, a director at Com2uS and a significant partner of XPLA, as a moderator. Alongside prominent Web3 pioneers, a natural and engaging discussion unfolded, emphasizing the critical role of Web3 in reshaping the internet and gaming industries. We found out that the transition from Web2 to Web3 is rapidly gaining momentum, and we witnessed that numerous major gaming studios are actively embracing this transformative shift through this session.

2️⃣ ️Oasys Special Event

During the evening, CEO Kyu Lee had the honor of being invited as a keynote speaker for the #OasysSpecialEvent, a prominent side event of IVS Crypto 2023. It was a special occasion where we proudly announced our partnership with Oasys, generating immense enthusiasm among the attendees. This strategic alliance plays a crucial role, particularly in the highly anticipated launch of the web3 version of ‘Summoners War: Chronicles,’ which will be onboarded onto XPLA. 3️⃣ Com2Us: Building XPLA the Gaming Blockchain with Com2Us

On the second day of IVS Crypto, CEO Kyu Lee took the stage as the keynote speaker, marking the beginning of our participation in the event. His speech, titled “Com2uS: Building XPLA, the Gaming Blockchain with Com2uS,” was delivered with great enthusiasm and captivated the audience with his insightful vision.

During Kyu’s keynote, he highlighted our profound understanding of Free-to-Play (F2P) gaming. Recognizing the importance of applying this knowledge to the Web3 space, we continue to explore and experiment with diverse game tokenomics in each new release.

He introduced the concept by stating, “A portion of the revenue from the MiniGame Party game will be allocated to purchasing tokens, which will be returned to the players. This virtuous tokenomics cycle aims to create a mutually beneficial ecosystem for players and game providers.

During this session, the representatives from both projects passionately explored the opportunities and challenges inherent in the blockchain gaming industry in these two countries.
