Since a trial in October 2020, the Xprenia platform has attracted learners from more than four countries in Asia. It is set to expand exponentially in the first quarter of 2021 with a pipeline of partnerships in place with multiple educational institutions, agencies and startup accelerators.
Xprenia has also secured an undisclosed amount of funding from an experienced business transformation professional who is also a veteran in the insurance industry, in January 2021.
The aforementioned undisclosed investor has formally spearheaded teams in change transformation in multiple international banks. With the number of alternatives serving the mass market that frequently discuss cases that are excessively used, he sees the niche gap that Xprenia can fit in to serve the increasing demand of knowledge in the Asia context which is also applicable to small businesses.
Two other investors involving in this platform include S.T. Rubaneswaran and Paddy Tan. Rubaneswaran runs a successful technology training academy in Southeast Asia that provides industry-recognised certifications and courses to upskill the workforce.
Tan, a Managing Partner at BlackStorm Consulting, also a serial entrepreneur and an investor, is also on board to magnify the impact of this platform. Bringing his expertise in growing businesses, Tan together with his partners and team, will also be instructors on Xprenia.
Unlike other online learning platforms, Xprenia maintains a laser focus on targeting mid-career business executives, as well as existing and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The platform’s offerings are highly customised to the needs of its audience — courses that are relevant to business and entrepreneurship, while consultancy services provide targeted assistance and address relevant issues and concerns to achieve significant results on the learners’ end.
