Will AI Kill Meaningless Jobs
None of us would have asked this question or nor taken it seriously till now. A lot has changed in two years, few are happy, many are angry and the majority ( most likely) are somewhere in between.
Recently, Goldman Sachs estimated that generative A.I. could eventually automate tasks equivalent to 300 million full-time jobs worldwide, particularly in office roles like administration and middle management.
When we think about technology replacing human work, we often see it as either a huge boost for businesses or a disaster for workers who lose their jobs.
But is there a middle ground here. A.I. might (probably will) eliminate roles that people find pointless or degrading. If that happens, could it actually improve the quality of life for those workers? [Read More]
Gartner’s Generative AI Project Predictions
Gartner predicts “At least 30% of generative AI (Gen AI) projects will be abandoned after proof of concept by the end of 2025, due to poor data quality, inadequate risk controls, escalating costs or unclear business value.”
Many are using Gen AI to reshape their business models and uncover new opportunities. However, the price tag for these projects can be steep, ranging from $5 million to $20 million. [Read More]
