Launch Day 2016: Cohort 2
We are excited to welcome our second class of innovators.

Last night XRC Labs celebrated its second-ever launch day. The networking event took place at The New School, welcoming a great cross-section of our sponsors, investors, and communities.
What’s great about an accelerator program is the ability to change course and develop an entirely new agenda each time around. With that said, we are incredibly excited to welcome this second class of innovators.
The purpose of a launch day is not only to introduce the unique projects brought to you by our team, but ultimately to establish an ecosystem with the XRC Labs fellows, sponsors, cohorts and affiliates; a composition of individuals that comprise the entirety of the XRC community.
The ten new cohorts were asked to speak openly, with no cards or expectations but merely to show-face in a raw and organic manner. The appeal of an unrehearsed conversation was to expose the fresh ideas of these individuals and their brands, in order to reveal their progress and evolution in only 10-weeks time.
“When you come back for demo day you see the true evolution. You’re blown away.”
- Joel Towers, Executive Dean of Parsons
It was an evening of wise words and experiences, thanks to our awesome and insightful panelists Mazdack Rassi, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Milk; Joel Towers, the Executive Dean of Parsons since 2009; and of course, our very own Managing Director, Pano Anthos.
For all those who require a brief overview of our 10-week accelerator:
XRC Labs is a first of its kind innovation accelerator for the next generation of disruptors in the retail and consumer goods sectors. This program is a joint venture between Founding Sponsor organizations, the Parsons School of Design at The New School and Kurt Salmon.
Now to introduce our innovative class of cohorts (drumroll please):
Maybe we used the word “excited” too much in one write-up, but that’s exactly what we are: excited.
