Nimbly
Nimbly is an on-demand 3D-knitting platform that powers the one-off manufacturing of standard-size and custom-fit knit products in the U.S. Unlike the inefficient and slow knitwear supply chains, Nimbly matches supply with demand, making products in less than an hour — with no order minimums. It’s a turnkey solution for innovation-driven apparel brands that want to quickly react to demand and/or empower customer choice, and reap benefits like reducing excess inventory, discounting, lead-times and product development costs.
Mariano deGuzman, Co-Founder
Mariano founded Nimbly after successfully starting and managing his own knit clothing brand, Appalatch. His deep interest in clothing manufacturing and sustainability was cultivated during studies at Harvard and international work for CARE International, the ONE Campaign and the World Bank.
Kevin Sladek, Co-Founder
Kevin co-founded Nimbly after two tours as a combat helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps. Before joining the service, he started and successfully led a technology and advertising firm, now called SAY Media.
Theodore Lauzen, Founding Advisor
After seven years as a combat helicopter pilot for the Marines and three as an athlete for Team USA, Ted joined Nimbly as a Founding Advisor. Ted is in the process of earning his JD from Penn Law and his MBA from the Wharton School.
