Hello, XRC community! We have decided to switch to monthly format for reports. So here’s everything that happened to XRC in October.

1. Strong Hands Program

Another SHP snapshot happened on October 1, closing previous cycle of our dividends program and at the same time bringing the start of the next one. Rewards for previous cycle were paid on October 12.

Here’s the report from the 3rd Strong Hands Program cycle: https://www.bitcoinrh.org/ReportQ3_Final.pdf

We would like to remind you that current SHP cycle will last till January 1, 2020 and will have doubled dividends paid to holders. 16,072 XRC (≈$150,000) will be distributed in January.

2. New mining pool

Mining Dutch, major well-known mining pool listed XRC on October 11.

All existing Bitcoin Rhodium pools can be viewed on MiningPoolStats.

3. XRC team is growing

On October 14 we announced an addition to the team, one more developer joined us. And in two days XRC team grew by two more members: marketing strategist and also community and ambassador manager. Welcome to the team!

4. One-Year Anniversary

On October 20 we celebrated the first anniversary of Bitcoin Rhodium’s Mainnet launch 🎉.

In the year since launching we achieved full decentralization and stability:
— 119 full nodes secure the network
— 5 mining pools
— 5 wallets available to store your coins
— 7 exchanges have listed XRC
— More than 54,000 blocks mined without any major issues

In one year XRC team has accomplished its commitments and established a solid and credible project image. We would like to thank our partners and our great community for their contribution. We will continue to move forward and build the HODL coin. Tweet this

5. New partnership

Just few days after the Anniversary celebrations new partnership with the Magnum wallet was announced to help bring XRC to Ledger wallet.

Update. On October 29 our Ledger app was ready and now is waiting for review and merge.

6. Trezor update

Speaking of hardware wallets, Trezor now officially supports Bitcoin Rhodium on both of its devices. Previously support for Trezor One was only in beta. Please upgrade your wallet’s firmware.

7. Core team map

We have published on our website the Core team distribution map. Bitcoin Rhodium is now more decentralized than ever with team members representing XRC in every part of the world. Tweet this

8. r/Bitcoinrhodium

As you may know we have a subreddit but it was lacking regular updates like our other main communities. From now on we’ll be updating it constantly and also will bring some exclusive content there. So, please subscribe, post and do reposts to other subreddits as that helps a lot.
