xAssetCLR is Live! Here’s our How-To Guide

All the way at the bottom of this page, we will be maintaining a running list of active LP incentive programs.

We’re excited about launching xAssetCLR — our new Uniswap V3 exchange framework. If you’re interested in learning more, check out this blog post where we introduced the product, explained how it works and offered some insights on why we think xAssetCLR will serve an important role in the xToken ecosystem. The blog post also discusses some of the risks of providing liquidity through the CLR framework and we encourage you to review these risks before LPing.

Participating in xAssetCLR

xAssetCLR liquidity can be managed via the xToken Cafe Manage Liquidity tab for the available liquidity pools. We’ll be using the XTK-ETH liquidity pool and Metamask wallet as an example throughout this guide.

Deposit

Step 1: Select a token under Manage Liquidity tab for which the xAssetCLR liquidity pools are available and enter the amount of both the assets you’d like to deposit into the pool. For the ease of user experience, you can either input asset0 or asset1 and the required amount of the other asset will be auto-populated in the input field along with the deposit ratio of the assets.

Note that you’ll need WETH in your wallet to deploy liquidity to this pool. Balancer offers an easy interface for this.

Step 2: Once you’ve confirmed the initial deposit amount for both the assets, click on the Deposit button which opens up a modal. If this is your first time interacting with this contract, you’ll need to submit approvals for both tokens. The next few steps will walk you through this process. If you’ve already approved both the tokens, skip to Step 6

Step 3: Once you click the Approve button, you’ll be prompted to Confirm the transaction in your wallet

Step 4: Wait for the approval transaction to confirm

Step 5: Once the Approve XTK transaction has been confirmed, proceed with the Approve WETH transaction following same steps as earlier.

Step 6: Once Approve WETH transaction is confirmed, proceed with the completion of deposit flow by clicking on Deposit button and confirming the transaction in your wallet

Nice! You should now be seeing XTK-ETH CLR liquidity pool tokens once the Deposit transaction has been confirmed 🎉

Staking

Step 1: On the same Manage Liquidity asset page, input the amount of xAssetCLR liquidity pool tokens you’d like to stake and click on Stake button to proceed and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

Good to go! Assuming rewards have been initiated, you’re now accumulating XTK and Uniswap V3 trading fees.

Un-staking

Step 1: On the Manage Liquidity tab from the available xAssetCLR liquidity pools where you’ve initially deposited, press the Exit & Claim button and proceed to confirm the transaction.

Please note that there’s a 6-week vesting period for the claimable XTK rewards

Withdraw

Before withdrawing the xAssetCLR liquidity pool tokens, you need to un-stake them in case you’re still participating in the Staking rewards program. Please follow the steps mentioned in the Un-staking section above

Step 1: Go to Withdraw tab and enter the amount of xAssetCLR LP token you’d like to withdraw. You can check the estimate of both the assets you’d be receiving upon successful withdraw.

Tip: You can easily select the percentage of LP tokens you’d prefer to withdraw from the options above input

Step 2: Once you’ve confirmed the amount of xAssetCLR LP tokens you’d like to withdraw, click on Withdraw button to proceed and confirm the transaction in your wallet

Once the transaction is confirmed successfully, you should be seeing the updated token balances reflected in your wallet.

We expect to extend both of these programs after an initial trial period.
